Bluebyrd are an alternative folk duo based in the Midlands in the UK. Bluebyrd comprises of songwriter Chris Rowley on guitars and vocals, and Gareth Pask on keyboards.

"If you love music from the soul,  played with passion and conviction, then Bluebyrd is the band for you. We’re an alt- folk duo with a unique sound that is both warm, melodic but with an edge. People say they can hear traces of Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake, Johnny Cash, Elvis Costello and Paul Simon in our sound. We’re very happy to be placed alongside artists who we love and have a story to tell and we hope that people hear a sincerity and a truth in what we do. Whether we’re singing about errant lovers, refugees, navigating the political and multi media landscape, we hope our music strikes a chord with the listener leaving feet tapping, hearts skipping, heads buzzing and eyes shedding occasional tears."

Since their formation in 2017  they have played extensively in the Midlands and the North West, and have been prominent players on the local festival circuit,

as well as featuring regularly on community and national radio stations (including the BBC) across the UK.
